Term 3, 2011 Performance Dates

 Moocooboola Festival, Boronia Park Oval, Hunters Hill

The site for our cake stall is C23 near where we are meeting for the parade at the corner of Princes & Park Rds

All Performance Groups will be performing in the Parade – Remember your TIZZLE!

Date: Sunday 7th August 2011   Arrival Time: 8:45am Parade time: 9:30am

Location: Cnr Princes & Park Rd (audience should view the parade from the top oval)

This is a massive festival with heaps of stalls and rides and entertainment. Some of our students have asked to run a cake stall to fundraise for their next adventure. If you would like to bake something yummy for our stall you can pick up wrapping & plates from the studio to present it on. Anyone who bakes or volunteers their time will be noted for fundraising hours. These hours count towards the portion of fundraising you receive if you’re involved in our next tour! All PG’s Parade Rehearsal Tuesday 2^nd August 6:45-7:30pm at Dance Sensation.

There will be four Performance Groups in 2011!

Year 2 – Year 4   PG1 – Sat 11:30am-1:00pm

Year 5 – Year 6   PG2 – Fri 4:00pm-6:00pm

Year 7 – Year 9   PG3 – Tues 5:30pm-7:30pm

Year 10 – Adult   PG4 – Tues 7:30pm -9:30pm

 

BEST EVER RESULTS FOR DANCE

 SENSATION’S TAP EXAMS

It’s CONGRATULATIONS time to all our fabulous Tap Dancing students.

Well Done to ALL our Tap Dancers who were brave enough and dedicated enough to dance their tap exams this year. Our marks and averages were higher than ever with an amazing 12 students scoring 90+ WOWEE! Some honourable mentions go to the following dancers…

Well Done to these students who have worked hard to earn the title of PERFORMER OF THE MONTH. These students will all be invited to partake in an extra special dance at our 2011 Annual Concert.

These students showed outstanding resilience and leadership when at the Hunters Hill Parade our music faltered (through no fault of our own) and they sang AND danced our way to victory (we won 1st place)!
