We will be adhering to all of the governments guidelines and restrictions for the safety of our dancers. All students will be encouraged to socially distance and wash hands regularly.
- What age does my child need to be?
DANCE SENSATION caters for children attending school at the time of the Camp aged from 5-13 years of age.
- What time does the camp run?
The camp runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Wednesday.
Extended hours are offered for drop off from 7:45am & pick up between 3:15-5:00pm.
DANCE SENSATION requests that children are promptly picked up at 3pm. We reserve the right to charge $1 per minute after 3:05pm (from 5:05 for extended hours). If parents are running late, please email management on email@example.com as soon as possible.
- How many days can my child attend?
Children may attend the camp for single days, the whole week or a mixture of days! Receive a generous $15 discount for attending all 3 days. Simply select which days when purchasing your tickets.
- How much does Drama and Dance Camp cost?
Camp costs $70/day or $195 for all three days ($15 off!). Extended hours costs $105/day or $300 for all three days and includes morning and afternoon hours.
A 10% earlybird discount applies if you book before June 19th!
- How can I book my child into Drama and Dance Camp?

- What does my child have to bring?
Children should bring a packed and healthy lunch as well as morning and afternoon tea. Water should also be brought in a refillable bottle.
Please ensure that all belongings are labelled with your child’s name.
- What should my child wear?
Comfortable clothes that won’t restrict flexibility and shoes suitable for activity and running. No Jeans.

- What should my child not bring?
Please ensure your child does not bring valuable toys or money to the camp, including iPods, PSPs, Gameboys etc. Mobile phones are also not advised, as we cannot be held responsible if they go missing. If a child needs to be contacted, please go through the DANCE SENSATION Admin Team, who can be contacted on firstname.lastname@example.org during camp time. If it is absolutely necessary that a child have a mobile phone present at camp, please advise staff whom will safe keep it until the end of the day. DANCE SENSATION is not liable for any personal items lost or damaged whilst at Camp.
- What is the drop off / pick up procedure?
We will take an attendance roll each day. Street parking is available on Dalrymple Ave and Beaconsfield Rd, and surrounding back streets.
- How are the children grouped?
Some activities will be group by age, others will include the group as a whole.
- What will my child be doing at Camp?
During the structured camp times of 9:00am to 3:00pm, children will be constantly involved with their group participating in many activity sessions per day of Drama, Dance & Games. Kids will get to do many different activities following a timetable that allows for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea breaks.
- What if my child is feeling anxious or shy?
No problem, our caring and trained staff are experienced in helping children to feel safe, involved, encouraged and valued.
- What happens to disruptive children?
In the interests and safety of other children attending Camp, it may happen (albeit on rare occasions) that a child has to be excluded from the camp. This will be for bullying, aggressive or non-cohesive behaviour. There will be no refunds made and parents will be responsible for collecting their child and any associated costs.
- Will photographs be taken?
Occasionally photographs will be taken of children partaking in activities whilst at DANCE SENSATION with the intention of using them in advertising and promotional material. Any footage used would be of an appropriate and encouraging agenda. If you would prefer that your child is excluded from photos or videos, kindly let a staff member know at drop-off.
- What if my child gets sick?
With the presentation of a Doctors Certificate, days missed by sickness will be held as credit days to be used at another time, for up to 12 months.
- What if I want to cancel my booking?
Bookings cancelled more than 14 days before the first day of the camp will receive a full refund, minus a $20 administration fee. Bookings cancelled within the 14-day period will be unable to receive any refund. You may transfer a booking to another child as long as you give appropriate and fair notice to DANCE SENSATION.
- How long has DANCE SENSATION been running?
Dance Sensation was founded 24yrs ago by Elizabeth and has grown to cater to hundreds of enrolments each year with 10 teaching staff. We have studios in Lane Cove, Ermington and Lindfield East. We are a strong supporter of age appropriate choreography and music and we endeavour to make dance fun, enjoyable and uplifting for your spirit.
